L10S Ultra

The next big one after the Z10. Now with rotating mops and a full auto-empty and mop dock. Used by many. First time where I watched Dennis defeat secure boot on the Roborock S8 and replicated/ported what he did to this robot.

  1. Base firmware

  2. Device

Installing a firmware built for a different model of bot will brick it - no matter how similar it looks or its name might sound like.
Do not try to cheat this.

  3. Output format

  4. Actions

  5. SSH access

Must be at least 6 characters. Leave empty for a random key.
Depending on your threat model, a good value here could for example be the SN of the robot.

  6. Human verification

Serial number

The serial number is printed on the sticker below the dustbin. Include all lines but exclude anything like "WO:"

Enter the serial exactly as printed, including all lines. Do not add spaces or dashes.

We check the format before queueing anything: the model code prefix, the character set and the length have to match this model. If your serial is rejected, it usually means the sticker belongs to a different model variant - check the aka line above for what this build supports.

Generate an SSH keypair

While you should really generate one yourself using the proper openSSH tools, if you do not care, you can also generate one here.
This all happens locally in your browser and is not saved anywhere, so make sure to hold on to that zip to not lose access to your robot.

Used as the key comment and the download filename.
